Wine Time

Oh, boy, it's not my day. Both of my teams lost today. The Dallas Cowboys just totally sucked in every way and deserved to lose. No offense, defense couldn't stop anything, and nothing else spectacular to speak of, they just got a good old-fashioned whipping. But the SD Chargers, a different story, Nate Kaeding, the Pro Bowl kicker missed 3 field goals. The offense made too many mistakes, and the defense couldn't make the big plays when it counted. Inconsistent and unfocused all around. The final score was 17-14. They beat themselves basically. Another year, another San Diego disappointment. Oh, well, it's just a game. No biggie, life goes on. It just means that this will be another typical BORING Super Bowl Sunday, may be I'll watch the Who playing at half time, may be not.

* Legs are slightly sore today from the race yesterday. Still went out and ran a couple of miles in the rain. It was around 54 degrees, I miss the 30s and 40s when I could breathe the fresh air. This will be the 17th straight day of running at least one mile a day. I'm feeling somewhat out of it physically, still having some trouble breathing properly. I slowed down a bit and it seemed to help. Tomorrow will be running early, may be a long easy run of more than 4 miles.
