That quote from the play Dark Rapture by Eric Overmyer reminds me of Portland Stage Company where I worked 20 years ago. Actually the play was done in Dallas Theater Center, another theater I worked at with the old artistic director from Portland Stage and where I saw my old boss Niall who is now married to Amy, another co-worker back at Portland. Oh boy, talk about Six Degrees of Separation, wait, that was another play I did at Dallas. It was a pleasant surprise to read on Amy's blog that she is now back with him and is now raising her two boys, one is a two year old with Niall. I'm not very sentimental but that is a sweet and heartfelt love story. I saw Niall in Dallas about 15 years ago and the last time I spoke with Amy was in 1992, almost 20 years ago. She is a wonderful writer and photographer. Check out her blog A Commonplace life. I like the concise, simple, straightforward and unpretentious style of her writing. Her photographs have so much emotions, expressions and feelings in them.
